Established and managed KK Fund in Singapore since 2015, focusing on early-stage startup investments in the Southeast Asia region. The portfolio includes 27 companies from the region, such as Venteny (microfinance), which went public in Indonesia, and EventPop (ticketing service) and Infofed (e-sports business) in Thailand, both of which successfully exited through M&A.
Previously served as a Director at IMJ Investment Partners, executing early-stage investments in companies such as Bukalapak in Indonesia (later IPO) and iMoney in Malaysia (M&A). Began his career in Japan with the ORIX Group and later engaged in investment banking at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities. Subsequently worked on corporate acquisitions and hotel turnarounds at Ishin Hotels Group, a PE fund founded by George Soros.
Graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University with a degree in Economics, completed an MBA at IE Business School, and earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
