While studying at Kagoshima University, he participated in the “Inamori Academy,” a management school established on campus by Kyocera founder Kazuo Inamori. During his university years, he founded Book-Off Kagoshima and transformed an underperforming Book-Off store in Kagoshima into a profitable business within a few months, gaining his first successful experience in business “revitalization.”

Subsequently, he went on to lead the turnaround of various companies, including restaurants and cosmetics e-commerce businesses. In projects jointly invested in with private equity funds, he adhered to a hands-on approach, personally delving into on-site operations to address issues swiftly and decisively. This approach significantly increased business value within a short time frame, culminating in a successful buyout to a major South Korean conglomerate.

In March 2018, leveraging the expertise in revitalization and growth accumulated through his corporate restructuring experience, he founded AIGATE Inc.

In 2021, he successfully led one of the supported companies to an IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange with a valuation of 20 billion yen. He has also managed the turnaround and sale of multiple businesses.
